where i'm from.

Where I’m From
By Caitlin Connor

I’m from Lincoln logs
And playdoh
From candy land
To Chutes & Ladders
I am from the Power Puff Girls
And Teletubbies
From my parents couting down from 5
To being grounded when they got to 0

I’m from sketchers
And Garfield band-aids
From the ice cream man’s truck
And the song it would play

I’m the ripe apple from the tree
Waiting to be picked.

  1. Dear Caitlin,
This poem is very unique. I like how it shows your younger ages up to now. Its really cool how you made it an analogy kind of. :)
